Henry Humphrey Jackson was the first husband of Charlotte Cecilia Sheffield. When he died he left her a life interest in his property Holly Hill. She remarried to Bernard Hale (defender of Ashdown Forest) and is buried with him in Woodbury Park Cemetery where I coordinate historical research. She will be mentioned in a booklet I am preparing about the members of the Hale family buried there. Some other members of the Hale family are commemorated in windows in Holy Trinity Colemans Hatch - built by MacAndrew who had acquired HHJ's property after his widow died and completely rebuilt it.
